Territorial Support Group assists Central South BCU (Lambeth and Southwark)

TSG were deployed to Lambeth and Southwark on an early shift. Officers from U4.4 attempted to locate a wanted offender after intelligence suggested he may be squatting at an address.

As officers attended and established containment around the property, the suspect was seen running from the rear of the address. He was detained by officers following a foot chase.

Officers entered the address and conducted a search, locating another unknown male inside. During the search, officers discovered a large quantity of Class A drugs and a handgun.

Another excellent piece of work by U4.4, highlighting the importance of interoperability with local boroughs to deliver great results and help keep the streets of London safe.
